Things have been looking up for Arcadian Knights lately. The kickstarter funded and it will be sending me to the Baltimore Comic Con on September 8-9th. I will be debuting the third issue of Arcadian Knights there. I will also hopefully have a collected volume 1 there also. I feel that this is necessary because these first three issues are the foundation of the story before we get some room to run. The issue will be titled City of Delusion because Eric finds out what he agreed to. Milan is busy pumping out the pencils/inks. They look great! Here are a couple sneak peeks.
This next coming weekend I will be at Steel City Con in Pittsburgh. I will have both issues and some other Arcadian Knights merch. For the first time I will be doing/have some sketches. Make sure you stop by the booth!
A special thank you goes out to all of the kickstarter supporters. I really appreciate the interest in the series and am looking forward to attending some bigger shows and gaining a wider audience. All rewards will start to go out when the funds post.

I have donated some stuff to a Chinese Auction for Zayvier. I donated signed 2 first editions of both issues, buttons, and 4 posters. I know it is not much but it is what I can do at the moment. Zayvier is a 5-month old boy who just had major brain surgery on 6/19/12. The surgery went well, however, he contracted Meningitis 3 days later and is now on an extended stay at the Children’s Place. The Children’s place is part of Children’s Hospital but deals strictly with infections.
I am urging anybody who can either donate anything, monetary or auction items to do so. Monetary donations can be made at any PNC bank under the name ZAYVIER. Any Chinese auction items can be mailed to Lisa Lema directly at 208 Aspen Ridge Drive, Portersville, PA 16051. 724-766-6363.
I just finished up the Game Vault release party for Arcadian Knights: Cemetery Drive. I would like to thank the Game Vault for hosting the event and thank everybody who has came out and supported me. The day was a lot of fun and met some cool people and some new followers.
We have hit our goal of $300 dollars and are currently at $365.05. This helps me curve some production costs and convention costs. I am now trying to get to $1000 to help me get a large print run of my comic books. I have 10 days to get the money to do this. If you would like to support the kickstarter, click here. You are now guaranteed to get the rewards you pledged for.
I will be setting up an online store on Etsy.com to get your official Arcadian Knights merchandise. This includes everything I have at conventions and more. Expect that in the near future for updates.
I will also be featured in the magazine Inspired Viewpoints in issue 6. You can check back for updates and check it out here. InspiredViewpoints, a magazine created by artist to explore artist, discover artist, increase the awareness of artist and network with artist from the beginner to the advanced professional.

I am preparing for my next appearances at the Game Vault in Uniontown for a release party of chapter 2 of Arcadian Knights on June 30th. I will be debuting the issue there and will post a time in the tour section when I confirm it.
Also, I will be appearing at Steel City Con in Monroeville, PA on July 27th-29th. I will have some new merch at the booth. Go on the Arcadian Knights Facebook page and vote for the design of the button to make an appearance at the convention. I will also have posters of the Cemetery Drive cover. Come out and check it out. I am trying to get a life-size cutout of my devil from Arcadian Knights for the table.
I have also restarted my kickstarter with a short term goal of helping with a couple of conventions, notably Baltimore Comic Con and MegaCon in Orlando. If you want to help support my cause you can donate HERE.
The third issue of Arcadian Knights is off to Milan, sequential artist and co-creator, to begin the art process. The issue is going to be titled City of Delusion. It is the last chapter setting up the premise of the comic series and takes Arcadian Knights into some new territory and includes some awesome things from the past. Keep checking back for some updates about City of Delusion.
I was recently featured in my local newspaper with a full page article about Arcadian Knights. I am very thankful for the amount of support I am getting for the comic book. A few blogs have also picked up on Arcadian Knights and I am in talks with a magazine to feature an article about it. Here are some links to the articles:
Geek Girls Project
I was also a featured guest at the Sci-Fi Valley Convention in Ebensburg, PA. The con was a lot of fun and very different from what I am used to. I met some awesome people and hung out with some new and old friends. I give props to Casey Basset for having a kickass first year for the con and will look forward to doing it again next year.

I have been really busy lately. The second issue of Arcadian Knights is almost to the printer soon. Fico just finished the cover and it looks amazing. The story include more of Eric’s wife Mae and Eric dealing with the curse of Lycanthropy.
I will be attending the Sci-Fi in the Valley Convention in Ebensburg this weekend. It is a new convention that I plan on picking up some new fans. There will be some pics from convention up here next week.
I started a kickstarter to help with the production of the Arcadian Knights series. This will assure that the issues will come out faster and on a wider scale. Go check it out. There is some awesome rewards, including misprinted issues and original art.
The Avengers movie was everything I hoped. I just wish that they let the Black Widow use some of the weapons on her wrist. Joss Whedon did a fantastic job of giving every character an equal amount of screen time. The way he highlighted the relationship with Tony Stark and Bruce Banner was awesome. Those two characters have a lot more in common than anybody thinks. I would like to see how they are going to handle the sequels without including all of the other Avengers. Also, a Black Widow movie with Hawkeye would be awesome. I think it would give more depth to the relationship on the big screen.
Me on Free Comic Book Day
I held a signing at Above and Beyond Comics in Erie, PA on Free Comic Book Day. I did pretty well and talked with some awesome people.
I was also a guest lecture at Penn State Behrend. I gave a lecture on the production process of comic books. I had a lot of good feedback.

I will be at this March’s Steel City Con! I will have my first issue debuting there. I am super excited about getting to go and be among the celebrities and James O’Barr, writer of The Crow. In addition to having my first issue at the convention, I will have some buttons with my Arcadian Knights on them and some posters of the cover. Come out and say hi. Also, There may be a contest where the winner gets an army jacket similar to the one Eric wears in The House of Wolves.
I have now been added to Indyplanet.com’s online store. You can go and order your copies of Arcadian Knights if you can’t make it to Steel City Con or won’t be seeing me. The link: tinyurl.com/82ntfuh
I am trying to set up signings at shops around Pittsburgh. Let your shop know about me and I will try to make it happen.

Its a very exciting time.
