To Steel City and beyond!

News

Things have been looking up for Arcadian Knights lately.  The kickstarter funded and it will be sending me to the Baltimore Comic Con on September 8-9th.  I will be debuting the third issue of Arcadian Knights there.  I will also hopefully have a collected volume 1 there also.  I feel that this is necessary because these first three issues are the foundation of the story before we get some room to run.  The issue will be titled City of Delusion because Eric finds out what he agreed to.  Milan is busy pumping out the pencils/inks.  They look great!  Here are a couple sneak peeks.

This next coming weekend I will be at Steel City Con in Pittsburgh.  I will have both issues and some other Arcadian Knights merch.  For the first time I will be doing/have some sketches.  Make sure you stop by the booth!

A special thank you goes out to all of the kickstarter supporters.  I really appreciate the interest in the series and am looking forward to attending some bigger shows and gaining a wider audience.  All rewards will start to go out when the funds post.

News

I have donated some stuff to a Chinese Auction for Zayvier. I donated signed 2  first editions of both issues, buttons, and 4 posters.   I know it is not much but it is what I can do at the moment.  Zayvier is a 5-month old boy who just had major brain surgery on 6/19/12. The surgery went well, however, he contracted Meningitis 3 days later and is now on an extended stay at the Children’s Place. The Children’s place is part of Children’s Hospital but deals strictly with infections.

I am urging anybody who can either donate anything, monetary or auction items to do so.  Monetary donations can be made at any PNC bank under the name ZAYVIER. Any Chinese auction items can be mailed to Lisa Lema directly at 208 Aspen Ridge Drive, Portersville, PA 16051.  724-766-6363.

I am preparing for my next appearances at the Game Vault in Uniontown for a release party of chapter 2 of Arcadian Knights on June 30th.  I will be debuting the issue there and will post a time in the tour section when I confirm it.

Also, I will be appearing at Steel City Con in Monroeville, PA on July 27th-29th.  I will have some new merch at the booth.  Go on the Arcadian Knights Facebook page and vote for the design of the button to make an appearance at the convention.  I will also have posters of the Cemetery Drive cover.  Come out and check it out.  I am trying to get a life-size cutout of my devil from Arcadian Knights for the table.

I have also restarted my kickstarter with a short term goal of helping with a couple of conventions, notably Baltimore Comic Con and MegaCon in Orlando.  If you want to help support my cause you can donate HERE.

Major Announcement!

The third issue of Arcadian Knights is off to Milan, sequential artist and co-creator, to begin the art process.  The issue is going to be titled City of Delusion.  It is the last chapter setting up the premise of the comic series and takes Arcadian Knights into some new territory and includes some awesome things from the past.  Keep checking back for some updates about City of Delusion.

Old News

I was recently featured in my local newspaper with a full page article about Arcadian Knights.  I am very thankful for the amount of support I am getting for the comic book.  A few blogs have also picked up on Arcadian Knights and I am in talks with a magazine to feature an article about it.  Here are some links to the articles:

I was also a featured guest at the Sci-Fi Valley Convention in Ebensburg, PA.  The con was a lot of fun and very different from what I am used to.  I met some awesome people and hung out with some new and old friends.  I give props to Casey Basset for having a kickass first year for the con and will look forward to doing it again next year.

Hello Everyone,

NEWS

I have been really busy lately.  The second issue of Arcadian Knights is almost to the printer soon.  Fico just finished the cover and it looks amazing. The story include more of Eric’s wife Mae and Eric dealing with the curse of Lycanthropy.

I will be attending the Sci-Fi in the Valley Convention in Ebensburg this weekend.  It is a new convention that I plan on picking up some new fans.  There will be some pics from convention up here next week.

I started a kickstarter to help with the production of the Arcadian Knights series.  This will assure that the issues will come out faster and on a wider scale.  Go check it out.  There is some awesome rewards, including misprinted issues and original art.

RANDOM THOUGHTS

The Avengers movie was everything I hoped.  I just wish that they let the Black Widow use some of the weapons on her wrist.  Joss Whedon did a fantastic job of giving every character an equal amount of screen time.  The way he highlighted the relationship with Tony Stark and Bruce Banner was awesome.  Those two characters have a lot  more in common than anybody thinks.  I would like to see how they are going to handle the sequels without including all of the other Avengers.  Also, a Black Widow movie with Hawkeye would be awesome.  I think it would give more depth to the relationship on the big screen.

OLD NEWS

I was also a guest lecture at Penn State Behrend.  I gave a lecture on the production process of comic books.  I had a lot of good feedback.

Hey everybody,

My comic book series is officially launching in January.  Stay tuned for updates here or at the Official Arcadian Knights Facebook page http://tinyurl.com/cz2y8t2. The picture above is the cover for issue 1.

The story is about a  man who falls prey to a Nazi science experiment that lands him in the devil’s House of Wolves. He must make a deal so he can get back to the States to his wife Mae, but in order for that to happen he must bring the souls of 9 evil men to the devil.

Its a very exciting time.
